JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The owner of the two missing Bernese mountain dogs that won their way into thousands of hearts across Northeast Ohio has announced that one of the dogs was found dead.
News 5 coverage of the missing dogs has generated over 5,000 reactions and 3,000 shares on social media as Northeast Ohioans have held out hope the dogs would return home safe.
The dogs have been missing since March 9 from the Strausser and Lake O Springs area.
One of the dogs is still missing.
Anyone with information on the dog's location is asked to call police at 330-834-3960 or the owners at 330-284-4901.
