An Alliance woman is facing charges for allegedly pretending to be a licensed nurse in order to get a job at an assisted living facility.
According to police, 30-year-old Kristin Sweet knowingly applied for a job using the identification number of another licensed practical nurse in the state.
She then started working at the Brookdale Senior Living Facility on Sawburg Avenue without a certification.
Police say she represented herself as a licensed nurse while caring for and dispensing medication to elderly and handicapped residents.
Sweet was arrested at her home Thursday on charges of taking the identity of another, deception to obtain dangerous drugs and unauthorized practice of nursing.
