Massillon police officers received a bit of a surprise Friday night when they responded to what they thought was a burglary-in-progress call near 25th Street and Maine Avenue West.
Instead of locating a burglar, authorities found an alleged drunk driver who had driven into the side of a home.
No one was injured in the crash.
The 20-year-old driver was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
