PLAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office has announced a sobriety checkpoint planned for Saturday.
The checkpoint will be on Whipple Avenue near Hill and Dales Road and in the 4200 block of Hills and Dales in Plain Township.
Authorities will be checking drivers for signs of “alcohol and drug impairment.”
The sheriff’s office said it wants to “strongly recommend to those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangments.”
