BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Bethlehem Township Thursday afternoon.
Around 1:40 p.m., a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling south on Kenmary Avenue when it traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to troopers.
The driver, later identified as 27-year-old Jordan Montgomery, then over-corrected and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and the vehicle overturned, troopers said.
Montgomery was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the Chevy, which came to a rest, striking her, according to troopers.
Troopers said Montgomery was pronounced dead on the scene by the Stark County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
