Deputies of the Stark County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting on Friday night in Nimishillen Township.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Robin Lily, 49, with a single gunshot wound. Officers reported Lily accidentally shot herself while putting her firearm away after target practice.
She was transported by the Nimishillen Township Fire Department to Mercy Medical Center in Canton where she died from her injuries at 12:48 a.m. on Saturday.
