BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a 48-year-old Strongsville man in Bath Township on Sunday, according to a release from the OSHP.

The crash happened at around 4:25 p.m. on Medina Line Road near Remsen Road when Timothy D. Workman, 48, of Strongsville, who was operating a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle, failed to make a curve to the right and traveled off the left side of the road.

The motorcycle overturned and threw Workman off of it and into a roadside traffic sign.

Workman, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Summit County Coroner’s Office, according to the release.

OSHP said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
