HUDSON, Ohio — Hudson's police and fire departments are investigating fires that were set at a private K-8 Catholic school on Monday morning, according to the city of Hudson.
Around 5 a.m., authorities received a call about a fire near Seton Catholic School in the 6900 block of Stow Road.
Once on scene, police learned the fire was out, but after performing a search around the school, police and fire crews discovered that someone had started, or attempted to start, fires outside of the school building, the city said.
Seton Catholic School was closed Monday as police and fire crews investigate the fire, according to the city.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
