Police are investigating threats made on the internet against Barberton City Schools District.
Barberton police said they are aware of some loose threats going around social media. No specific threat has been made and they are currently investigating.
Information about the threat was posted on the Barberton City Schools District Facebook page Sunday night.
The district allowed parents to keep their children home from Barberton Middle School or Barberton High School without a penalty.
