AKRON, Ohio - One person has died in a three-car crash on Interstate Route 77 northbound near the Ridgewood/Miller Road exit Thursday morning, according to officials.

At around 6:14 a.m., 2018 Hyundai Elantra and a 2007 Nissan Altima stopped in the left lane of I-77 northbound from a previous crash when a Dodge Ram 1500 rear-ended the Nissan, which rear-ended the Hyundai, a representative with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
