AKRON, Ohio — A crash involving a cement truck closed State Route 59 eastbound Thursday afternoon, Akron fire officials confirmed.
One person was transported to a local hospital with the extent of the injuries unknown at this time.
State Route 59 is closed to eastbound traffic for an unspecified time.
Eastbound traffic will have to get off at the Market Street exit.
