Cuyahoga Falls police looking for driver in fatal pedestrian hit-skip

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — A pedestrian who was killed in a hit-skip on Sunday has been identified, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The pedestrian, identified as Robert J. Persinger, 61, of Cuyahoga Falls, was struck and killed by a vehicle that fled the scene after the incident in the area of 2nd Street and Grant Avenue.

Cuyahoga Falls police are asking for help from anyone who was in the area of 2nd Street and Chestnut Boulevard and Grant Street between 11:55 a.m. to 12:06 p.m.
