A woman is accused of stealing $45,000 from a man with a developmental disability, the Summit County Sheriff's Office said.
Brenda Miller, 45, convinced the 55-year-old man to make two deposits totaling $45,000 into her personal bank account over the past year, the Sheriff's Office reported.
Authorities were tipped off when the man stopped receiving items necessary for his daily care.
Miller bought a car and other items for herself with the money, deputies said.
