An inmate was found unresponsive in his cell at the Summit County Jail Tuesday.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, Antonio Daniels was found unresponsive around 9:30 a.m. by a deputy.
The deputy and jail medical staff attempted to resuscitate him until EMS arrived.
Daniels was transported to Akron General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The cause of Daniels' death is under investigation.
