A local rapper was arrested Thursday night at a concert venue in Akron.
According to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service, 22-year-old Damen Winning was taken into custody at the Vortex Concert Club on charges of drug trafficking out of Portage County.
Police said Winning was carrying a gun, drugs, cash and a drug scale on him when he was arrested.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is considering filing additional charges against Winning since he is a felon and was found with a handgun, authorities said.
