A Summit County Metro Parks bridge was set on fire early Tuesday morning and now officials are investigating the case as arson.
The Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail north of Wilbeth Road was destroyed in the fire.
The trail is closed in the area.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call rangers at 330-867-5511.
