A 50-year-old motorcyclist was killed in crash in Northfield Tuesday night.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, the man was driving his 2002 Honda motorcycle on West Highland Road around 8:15 p.m. when he ran off the roadway and crashed.
The man was transported to the Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg location where he was pronounced dead.
The road was closed for about three hours as crews investigated the crash.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, officials said. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
