SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 23-year-old woman who was found dead in a Springfield Township motel under suspicious circumstances has been identified.
Brittany Lynn Watson, with a last known address of Clifton Boulevard in Cleveland was found dead after officers were called to the Office Motel in the 1900 block of Massillon Road at about 12 a.m. Sunday morning for a report of an unresponsive female, according to police. Officers found the woman in one of the motel cabins.
Police said they are taking a closer look at her death due to Watson’s age, general healthy appearance, and lack of obvious evidence of drug abuse.
Watson’s cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy has been rescheduled until Tuesday.
The incident remains under investigation, but police are limited in the information they can release at this time in order to retain the integrity of the investigation.
