Services for a mother and her two daughters who were recently killed in a house explosion in Summit County will be held Thursday.

The services for 43-year-old Cynthia Mather and her two daughters, 12-year-old Alyson Mather and 8-year-old Ruth Mather, will take place at the Christ Community Chapel, located at 750 W. Streetsboro St. in Hudson.

Visitation hours will be from 10 a.m.-noon and from 2-6 p.m. Celebration of life and services begin at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Heritage Classical Academy, 190 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson, OH 44236.

The three victims, along with husband and father Jeff Mather, were killed in the explosion on Monday night.

Authorities are investigating the incident as a murder-suicide after medical examiner records revealed a gas can was found next to Jeff Mathers’ body.
