Shotgun, rifles and numerous weapons stolen from Coventry Township home

COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Coventry Township home was broken into Monday night and authorities are asking for the public’s help in providing information regarding the identities of the culprits who pilfered numerous firearms.

The burglary happened just after 11 p.m. at a residence on Chenoweth Road, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

A 12-gauge shotgun, three rifles and various other weapons were taken from the home. The burglars also destroyed valuables and damaged the tenant’s vehicles, authorities said.
