Springfield Township man arrested for pandering child pornography

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Authorities arrested a man for having images and videos of child pornography inside his Springfield Township home Thursday, according to a news release from the Springfield Township Police Department.

Acting on a tip regarding pandering of child pornography, officers from the Springfield Township Police Department and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Edith Avenue in Springfield Township.

Police arrested Matthew R. Lamb, 39, who was arrested and charged with four felony counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, one count of pandering obscenity involving a minor and one misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, police said.

Several computers and electronic devices were found during the search, with some of those items containing confirmed images and videos of child pornography.

Lamb was booked into the Summit County Jail where he is currently being held.

Police said further evidence is pending forensic analysis of evidence taken from his residence.
