SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 44-year-old man has been arrested after deputies discovered a stolen tractor, drugs, cash and illegally altered weapons inside his Springfield Township home.
Brandon M. Lucien, 44, was arrested and charged with felonious assault of a law enforcement officer, having weapons under disability and receiving stolen property.
On Wednesday, deputies and troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol executed a search warrant after receiving reports of stolen property at his Springfield Township home on Proctor Road.
While he was being arrested, he allegedly attempted to retrieve a firearm, deputies said.
During the search, cash, drugs, thousands of rounds of ammunition, firearm parts and 10 firearms were found. Two of the firearms had either been illegally altered to fire fully automatic or had been equipped with illegal accessories.
A Kubota track loader reported stolen from the City of Green in 2019 and valued at over $50,000 was recovered.
Lucien was booked into the Summit County Jail. Additional charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
