Thursday afternoon Springfield Township police asked residents to avoid the area of Spring Hill in Summit County as they searched for a man that was armed and possibly suicidal.
Police are asked residents to avoid the area north of US 224, east of Neal Road and west of SR 352.
As of 3:15 p.m. authorities said there is no longer a threat in the area and police activity has been canceled.
No further information was provided.
