SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — Two men with records of habitually operating motor vehicles under the influence were once again arrested and charged, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers stopped a Cleveland man for a traffic offense on Interstate 77 at 8:11 p.m. Friday in Summit County.

During the stop, the man was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence—his 14th offense since 1979, troopers said.

Around 3:32 a.m., troopers stopped a Canton man for a traffic offense on Interstate 76 in Summit County.

The man was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence—his sixth offense since 2017.

The men are scheduled to appear in the Akron Municipal Court on March 16 and March 19.

Troopers said that motorists can report impaired drivers by dialing 1-800-GRABDUI or #677.
