Two Connecticut men have been charged after troopers found two pounds of cocaine in their car during a traffic stop on Wednesday.

The driver, 30-year-old Pedro L. Valle and passenger, 31-year-old Miguel A. Dejesus, were charged with possession and trafficking in cocaine.

It happened on the Ohio Turnpike in Summit County.

Authorities pulled over a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu rental car after the driver made a lane change violation. A K9 unit alerted troopers to the drugs.

The cocaine has a street value of around $90,000, troopers said.

Both men were taken into custody transported to the Summit County Jail.
