TWINSBURG, Ohio — Twinsburg police are starting to narrow down where a man who was found dead 38 years ago could be from.

Police said that thanks to the help of the DNA Doe Project and the use of forensic genealogy, they believe the victim of a 1982 cold case is likely from Laurens County, South Carolina.

The man is believed to be an African American male between the ages of 20 and 30, and approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall.

His remains were found on Feb. 18, 1982 behind a business at 3047 Canon Road in Twinsburg. Workers at the nearby business found a human skull.

They are asking that anyone who has any information about who the victim could be call Detective Hendershott at 330-405-5679.
