Police have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing a woman in Akron.
Detectives signed a warrant for murder for 29-year-old Duane Lucas, whose last known address is on Sparhawk Street in Akron, earlier Tuesday.
Lucas was arrested in the 500 block of North Howard Street in Akron, around 8:56 p.m. Tuesday night.
Around 10:40 a.m. officers responded to the 2500 block of Romig Road for a report of an argument in which shots were fired.
When officers arrived they found 31-year-old Brittany Littlejohn on the outside patio with several gunshot wounds.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the homicide appears to be domestic related.
