A Sandusky church was left with a whopping $600 water bill after an unknown person left a water spigot running—just one of several reported vandalism incidents plaguing this church in the last several days.

A pastor at the Divine Order Family Worship Church, 2130 Milan Rd., reported seeing an unknown man near the property when he noticed damage to the exterior of the church on Sunday.

The pastor told police several ceramic tiles that were used as a decorative border were broken. An aluminum gutter located on the north side of the church appeared to be bent due to someone intentionally trying to hang on it, according to the report.

On the south side of the church, the pastor also reported a wooden piece of a window frame that appeared to be intentionally removed.

The pastor said a water spigot was turned on by an unknown assailant, and it cost the church $600 in water fees.

According to police, the pastor is willing to file charges against the person(s) responsible for the ongoing damage. The church has been placed on a community watch list.
