Water main break closes portion of West 130th Street; causes minor flooding

CLEVELAND — A water main break closed a portion of West 130th Street Tuesday morning,according to John Goersmeyer, spokesperson for City of Cleveland Division of Water.

The 12-inch water main break on West 130th Street near Linnet Avenue closed West 130th Street from Cooley to Lorain Avenue.

Cleveland officers were on scene notifying residents who had cars parked on the street about minor flooding.

A couple dozen homes were impacted by the water main break. A few homes had flooding in the basement, the city said.

The city said it will help pump out water in the homes impacted by flooding.
