A woman died early Sunday morning after being shot in a home in Fremont.
According to Fremont Police, the incident happened around 1:08 a.m. on Willow Street. When police arrived at the scene they found 26-year-old Gabriella Rojas dead from a gunshot wound.
The Sandusky County Coroner's Office, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations, and Fremont Police all responded to the scene.
Police arrested 30-year-old Mauricio Edumndo Valois-Perez for murder and he is currently being held in the Sandusky County Jail. His court date is set for December 12 at 9 a.m.
