A 34-year-old Rocky River woman was detained after allegedly leaving a Giant Eagle with over $55 worth of seafood in purse.
On Wednesday, June 13, police went to the Giant Eagle at 22160 Center Ridge Road for a report of a shoplifter being detained, according to a news release from the Rocky River Police Department.
Store security told police that Kristina Foster was seen concealing items in her purse. She was detained after she left the store without paying for over $55 in seafood and charged with theft.
Foster then paid for the groceries and they were returned to her at the police station, the incident report states.
