CLEVELAND — Nurses at the Cleveland Clinic organized a special meeting for a 22-year-old patient missing his family.

The patient, named Drew, was recently diagnosed with a kidney disorder and had been in the hospital for more than two weeks, according to the Clinic.

During his stay, Drew was unable to see his family. His nurses took action, organizing a social distance meeting with his family through the windows of the hospital lobby so Drew could see his loved ones.

His family held up large signs that read “We love you Drew.”

The Cleveland Clinic shared the thoughtful gesture on Facebook Saturday.
