Bay Village police find missing woman with Alzheimer's

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio — Update: The woman has been found.

Bay Village police are searching for a missing woman.

The 72-year-old was last seen at her house between 5:30 and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said she is possibly driving a copper colored Toyota Highlander.

She weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She might be wearing a purple paisley shirt and dark blue jeans.

Police said she is in the early stages of Alzheimer's that has progressed recently.

She has made suicidal comments in the last few days.

Police said a plate reader picked up her vehicle in Fairview Park at Lorain and Story roads around 11:30 a.m.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call police at 440-871-1234.
