JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Update: The endangered missing alert for a 90-year-old man has been canceled after he was located safe by police.

An endangered missing alert has been issued by Jackson Township police for a 90-year-old man with Alzheimer’s who left his residence and failed to return at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The man is described by police as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds in weight with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue pants, a blue jacket and a hat.

He left his residence on Limerick Avenue NW in Canton in Stark County, police said.

Police ask that you call 911 or 1-866-693-9171 if you see him or the vehicle.
