An American Airlines pilot died while flying a plane of 147 passengers to Boston Monday, WCVB reports.
According to the Boston ABC-affiliate, the flight had left Phoenix just after midnight.

It was diverted to Syracuse after the pilot's death.
No word on what caused the death.
