Coolio found out the hard way what happens when you try to bring a loaded gun through airport security.

The 53-year-old rapper most famous for 1990s hits including "Gangsta's Paradise," was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday with a loaded, stolen gun, according to L.A.'s KABC-TV.

Coolio — whose birth name is Artis Ivey — was arrested along with a 39-year-old man with whom he was traveling. LAX security stopped the men after they found a gun inside Coolio's carry-on bag.

KABC reported the pair was arrested on a charge of possession of a stolen, loaded firearm. Coolio's bail was listed at $37,308.
