New video released to Detroit-based WXYZ shows a wild police chase in Marysville, Michigan end with a car flipping at 90 mph.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night after officers tried to pull over a tan Chrysler Concord for expired plates.

The driver activates his right turn signal like he's going to pull over, but then speeds off.

Driving at nearly 100 mph likely seemed like a good escape plan for the first three miles, but it turned out to be a terrible approach strategy for a roundabout.

The passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Nichols Belkiewicz, had an outstanding warrant and the driver, 32-year-old Jeffery Sharp, had an even longer rap sheet.
