Delegates from 12 states and one U.S. territory are up for grabs for presidential candidates on Tuesday.

"Super Tuesday" determines about 25 percent of the total delegates candidates can win in their respective quests to become the presidential nominee for their party. 

So far, Donald Trump leads Republicans with 82 delegates, while Hillary Clinton leads Democrats with 546 delegates, according to The Associated Press. Clinton's totals include superdelegates that can support any candidate.
