Netflix hit "Stranger Things" will have a second season beginning that will be available in 2017, Variety reported.
The second season will have nine episodes compared to eight episodes for the first season, Variety reported. The show features Winona Ryder and is written by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer.
The science fiction show centers around a missing boy and the search for him.
"Stranger Things" had 14.4 million people viewers in the first 35 days after the show was launched on the streaming service, Business Insider reported.
