Strange things tend to happen in the annual football meeting between the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils, and Friday's game was no exception.
The only difference: This play took place off the field — well, out of bounds, anyway.
In the second quarter of the game, Arizona quarterback Brandon Dawkins was shoved out of bounds after a 7-yard run. On his way out, he barreled over an unsuspecting Miss Arizona, Chelsea Myers, on the sideline.
Fortunately, Myers was OK — Dawkins made sure of that before he went back to the huddle.
So, Brandon Dawkins ran over Miss Arizona on the sideline. (By the way, that's ex-Cat LB Jake Fischer's girlfriend).

Dawkins, who led Arizona to a 56-35 win over ASU, even took time to apologize.
