President Donald Trump was acquitted on both articles of impeachment on Wednesday by the U.S. Senate, the first article for abuse of power by a mostly party-line vote of 52-48 voting for acquittal, with only Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah crossing party lines to convict. The vote on the second article of impeachment for obstruction of Congress ended with 47 Democrats voting guilty and all 53 Republicans voting not guilty.
