OTTAWA COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Ottawa County.
The crash happened around 11:45 p.m. on West Schiller Road in Benton Township.
Troopers said Michael Reichert, 29, was driving a 2005 Ford F350 westbound on West Schiller Road, when he went off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Reichert was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 22-year-old passenger was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo with incapacitating injuries.
Troopers said alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
