An Air Quality Advisory has been issued for several counties across Northeast Ohio that goes until Sunday.
The advisory was issued for Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency.
According to officials, anyone in sensitive groups such as children, the elderly, or people with breathing difficulties should monitor their outdoor activity.
NOACA said doing the following will help reduce air pollution across the area:
- DRIVE LESS — BIKE, WALK, USE TRANSIT, WORK FROM HOME, COMBINE TRIPS
- DON’T IDLE — TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE
- REFILL YOUR TANK AFTER SUNSET
- WAIT TO MOW
