CLEVELAND — The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is asking for your help identifying a "John Doe" who was found in the Maumee River in Defiance County earlier this year.

The man’s body was discovered May 24. State officials said they believe the man went in the water somewhere between Indiana and the Ohio-area recovery site.

The man is about 25 to 30 years old, is around 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 153 pounds. He has two tattoos on his body. The first is a shoulder tattoo that says “Gemini” with colored stars below it. He also has the word “music” tattooed on his rib in cursive.

Anyone who knows anything about the man’s identity is asked to call the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office at 419-784-1155 or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 740-845-2406 or 855-BCI-OHIO.
