Dog found with throat cut, mouth shut near Cincinnati

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio — Deputies in Butler County are searching for the person responsible for duct taping a dog's mouth shut and cutting its throat.

Officials said the dog was found on August 17 in Madison Township.

She was rushed to the veterinarian's office for treatment.

The dog is recovering and doing well.

According to the sheriff's office, the dog was adopted from HART Rescue in Cincinnati in 2011 and they are looking into who the dog's owners were.
