Family of four found dead in Genoa Township home possibly exposed to carbon monoxide

GENOA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A family of four has died after possible carbon monoxide poisoning.

Genoa Township police and fire departments received a call Thursday after 1:15 p.m. about a well-being check from a concerned family member.

When officials arrived, they found four dead family members.

First responders said they encountered elevated levels of carbon monoxide upon entry, but a cause of death is still under investigation.
