COLUMBUS — During his daily briefing on Monday, Ohio Gov. Mike is expected to address how the state's "Responsible RestartOhio" plan is going and where the state stands on testing and contact tracing.
This past weekend was the first time restaurants and bars across the state could open their patios for business.
On Saturday, photos of people packed together on the patio of Lago East Bank circulated online, bringing to question what social distancing guidelines were being implemented.
In a statement, Lago East Bank said the photos were not an accurate representation of the precautions it has taken against the spread of COVID-19, that it is still able to provide a safe environment for customers and that it does not believe the responsibility to “control” guests falls on the restaurant.
According to the Associated Press, DeWine said officials will do “whatever we have to do” to enforce social distancing and other protective measures if bars and restaurants fail to restrain crowds as the state eases coronavirus measures.
