Local colleges make U.S. News & World Report's 'Best Colleges 2020' list

CLEVELAND — The College of Wooster, Oberlin College and Baldwin Wallace University are singled out in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges 2020” guidebook, which ranks colleges and universities on undergraduate programs, majors, and PH.D. programs.

In the “National Liberal Arts Category,” Oberlin College ranked No. 33 with the The College of Wooster trailing behind at No. 66.

The other universities in Ohio to make the liberal arts category are Kenyon College at No. 27, Denison University at No. 43, Ohio Wesleyan University at No.92 and Wittenburg University at No. 160.

In the “Best Colleges for Veterans” list, Baldwin Wallace, with an undergraduate enrollment of 3,136, ranked No. 7. The private college also ranked No. 10 in the “Best Universities Midwest" category.

Case Western Reserve University also made the No. 40 spot in the "National Universities" category.
