HAMILTON, Ohio -- A frantic, frightened woman who escaped a rape attempt was found naked from the waist down in a cemetery Thursday afternoon, neighbors said.

According to a 911 call, people heard the woman screaming at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio at about 1:55 p.m.

"There's a lady in the graveyard with no clothes on," the 911 caller said. "She said somebody tried to rape her and she's trying to get out of the graveyard."

In the 911 call, the woman can be heard screaming in the background. She told the caller that her attacker was in a black pickup truck and was armed with a knife.

Christian Greer, one of the people who ran out to help the woman, said she told him she was able to escape from the truck but left all her belongings inside.

"She said that he had held a knife to her throat and demanded that she give him oral sex," Greer said.

He said he gave the woman his sweatshirt while other neighbors called 911 and got more clothes.

"She was hysterical. She was crying -- she doesn't know what to do. She is kind of going through a panic attack," Greer said.

Greer said it didn't appear the victim knew the man.

Stephanie Randall, who lives nearby, said she was alerted by a neighborhood social networking app, Nextdoor.

"I am scared to death, honestly," Randall siad. "My fiancé, he is on the road -- he is a truck driver -- so I'm here by myself every single day."

Police indicated they had a good idea of who the man might be, Randall said.

Hamilton Police Sgt. Brian Robinson said the incident was under investigation and he hoped to share more information Friday morning.
