CITRUS COUNTY, Florida — A man wanted in Ohio for numerous charges, including five counts of rape, was arrested by authorities in Florida last month, according to a Facebook post by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.
On Jan. 31, deputies arrested 60-year-old James Owens who had an active warrant from Ohio for 10 counts of gross sexual imposition and five counts of rape, authorities said.
Owens was arrested and will remain in custody until he is extradited back to Ohio.
No further information was released at this time.
